Places Build-to-Rent Fund has a growing portfolio of upcoming projects, which provides institutional investors with access to this new high growth asset class.

Build-to-rent provides an opportunity for investors to gain access to a stable income stream and Australia’s largest Asset class, Residential real estate. Additionally, the NSW Government has announced that land tax for new build-to-rent projects will be halved for the next 20 years, and overseas investors are exempted from the land tax surcharge. Having successfully completed its first build-to-rent project (Highland) in early 2019, Urban Property Group has commenced construction of its second (Navali) and has a strong project pipeline of future build-to-rent projects to bring to market.

Working with Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) housing providers as part of the Government’s National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), this means the projects include specialist housing for those with functional impairments or high support needs.
